Happy midweek all! Today I’ll be reviewing the Korres White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser I bought, which is part of the Best of Korres set on Luxola. I have a penchant for travel sized products, although sometimes they may not be as economical as the full sized item, it’s a fair trade off for variety’s sake.
Price: SGD$39 for the set
Packaging: Opaque squeeze tube with a screw on cap, doubles as a base so the tube can stand vertically. Brand new tubes should come sealed at the opening.
Ingredients: White Tea Facial Fluid Gel Cleanser, 16ml: Aqua/Water/Eau, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Peg-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Betaine, Peg-40 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Capryloyl Glycine, Sodium Coceth Sulfate, Alcohol, Arginine, Benzyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Castoryl Maleate, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydrolysed Oats, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Lactic Acid, Linalool, Magnesium Pca, Manganese Pca, Panthenol, Parfume (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Amino Acids, Sodium Pca, Sucrose Laurate, Tocopherol, Zinc Pca.
A lot of these ingredients don’t make sense to me. 😦
Scent: A faint, slightly floral scent that goes away fast.
The consistency of the cleanser is very much.. fluid. It dribbles a little and is quite watery. The photo above is dispensed direct from the tube and looks somewhat like dishwashing liquid.
This photo shows when I tried to lather the cleanser. As you can see, there’s not much foam and the product is very gentle on the skin. I reckon this would go well with a konjac sponge for some added scrub. After rinsing off, my skin does not experience tightness nor any irritation.
My rating: 4/5 (Foam vs Watery texture)
I think this would suit people with sensitive skin, as it is very gentle and cleanses effectively. However, I do prefer my cleansers to work up a lather and maybe not be as watery.
