Hi Everyone! Today I have a quick review on a brand which is new to me: Rue K Wave. I did some homework on the interwebs but didn’t manage to get much information, other than the fact that this is a Korean cosmetic brand.
Anyway, I purchased their lipstick from Qoo10 – the rue k wave action melting moisture lipstick. This comes with a range of 15 shades, I exercised some restraint and purchased only one, in the shade Busking Orange (OR206).
Read on for my first impression and how the lipstick fared. 💄
I bought myself a bunch of items when Alexis Ren collabed with Colourpop, and I was so excited for the parcel to arrive. The collection had the first ever Topaz highlighting kit, a new line of blotted lipsticks in 3 wearable shades, and two liquid lipsticks. Much anticipation indeed.
Fast forward 3 weeks later (I used international shipping) – my parcel came.
Upon opening the box, I was greeted with brown dust. Every item was caked in the Topaz palette which had exploded (Thanks USPS, you never fail to screw up my parcels, like how you lost my whole Too Faced order and was totally unhelpful when contacted). Thankfully only the brown side shattered, so I had the glorious task of wiping down the whole haul, and stoically re-pressing my bronzer cake. 😦
To make things worse, CP messed up my order. I was sent 2 tubes of Little Weapon when I ordered one of that and one of the nude shade (which I was more excited about). Contacting CP about this was totally not worth the hassle since sending the stuff back and all the email back and forth.. ugh. Don’t even want to think about it.
So anyway, today’s review is on the new blotted lipsticks in 3 shades: Deja Vu, Lexi, Exotic
CP messed up my Alexis Ren order, USPS wrecked my Topaz palette, I’m reviewing the blotted lip colours.
Season’s greetings everyone!
It has been a while since I last posted, and today I thought: why not share with everyone my favourite beauty items in 2016?
You can call it a year in review (beauty/skincare wise), and if some of you are still looking for that last minute Christmas gift, maybe this post can be of some help.
All these products are relatively inexpensive and work well – in my humble opinion. I will be talking briefly about my thoughts and usage experience with them, hopefully it helps if you are considering to try some of these items.

Hello and we are at the end of September! Today I finally had some down time after a hectic week of work, and I thought to do swatches from part 2 of my Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lips haul.
To be specific, it’s a bunch of ultra glossy lips and one shade from the metallic range. I’ll try to make this post a short one, so more photos, less typing. Lets go!
I can’t stop grinning. Today I got my order of Colourpop’s latest Ultra Glossy Lips in the mail and I immediately set about swatching and photoshooting.
I don’t have the full range available (c’mon I pay good money for these) – instead I picked out some shades which I felt are daily wearable colours. Actually, there are some which I am itching to order. You could say this post may be Part 1 of a possible second haul.

It’s raining every afternoon at where I’m at. Today I pounced on the chance when the sun showed and shot some photos for this review on the e.l.f. cosmetics lip kiss balms. There’s 8 shades in total, and I’d say I selected the 3 shades which are the all-time greatest hits (in my opinion anyway).
I received my mini e.l.f cosmetics haul earlier this week via DHL. I ordered when they were giving away a 6 piece gift set with minimum spend of USD$25, which I carted out USD$35 to qualify for free US shipping.
The 3 shades I have today are: Bare Kiss, Berry Sweet and XO Red.
Hi people! Today I have another one of my lipstick shenanigans, this time the 3 Concept Eyes (3CE) Lip Laquer in Backstage. I’m pretty sure with ever continuing hype of Korean cosmetics 3CE should probably a familiar brand to everyone, and this is just one out of their myriad of lip products.
I actually wanted to get Dalia, but it was out of stock online so I settled for Backstage.
