Hi Everyone! Today I have a quick review on a brand which is new to me: Rue K Wave. I did some homework on the interwebs but didn’t manage to get much information, other than the fact that this is a Korean cosmetic brand.
Anyway, I purchased their lipstick from Qoo10 – the rue k wave action melting moisture lipstick. This comes with a range of 15 shades, I exercised some restraint and purchased only one, in the shade Busking Orange (OR206).
Read on for my first impression and how the lipstick fared. 💄
I bought myself a bunch of items when Alexis Ren collabed with Colourpop, and I was so excited for the parcel to arrive. The collection had the first ever Topaz highlighting kit, a new line of blotted lipsticks in 3 wearable shades, and two liquid lipsticks. Much anticipation indeed.
Fast forward 3 weeks later (I used international shipping) – my parcel came.
Upon opening the box, I was greeted with brown dust. Every item was caked in the Topaz palette which had exploded (Thanks USPS, you never fail to screw up my parcels, like how you lost my whole Too Faced order and was totally unhelpful when contacted). Thankfully only the brown side shattered, so I had the glorious task of wiping down the whole haul, and stoically re-pressing my bronzer cake. 😦
To make things worse, CP messed up my order. I was sent 2 tubes of Little Weapon when I ordered one of that and one of the nude shade (which I was more excited about). Contacting CP about this was totally not worth the hassle since sending the stuff back and all the email back and forth.. ugh. Don’t even want to think about it.
So anyway, today’s review is on the new blotted lipsticks in 3 shades: Deja Vu, Lexi, Exotic
CP messed up my Alexis Ren order, USPS wrecked my Topaz palette, I’m reviewing the blotted lip colours.
Hi people! Today I have another one of my lipstick shenanigans, this time the 3 Concept Eyes (3CE) Lip Laquer in Backstage. I’m pretty sure with ever continuing hype of Korean cosmetics 3CE should probably a familiar brand to everyone, and this is just one out of their myriad of lip products.
I actually wanted to get Dalia, but it was out of stock online so I settled for Backstage.

And… we’re in March! Where has all the time gone? With Q1 closing to an end, here’s a quick peek at the latest Colourpop Ultra Satin Lipstick in a select few shades that I grabbed on the day of launch.

In my last post on Colourpop, I talked about the different shades of red. Today, I have my final post of the lippiestix and they’re in the spectrum of oranges.
Happy 2016 everyone! How did your festivities go? I had a nice week off from work, caught up with some packing, and soaked in some holiday vibes.
Today I have a post on the colourpop lippiestix. Why so, because I recalled when I was looking for colour comparison swatches for some of the shades I was eyeing, I didn’t have a lot of luck. Hopefully this writeup provides enough information for you girls who are deliberating between two shades. In this installation, I’ll be talking about the pinks and mauves. Do note not all the colours you see on the site are featured, mainly because these were bought with my money and so I only took those I liked 🙂
